Delcambe selects the different models of shoes offered in its stores so that they meet the required criteria in terms of comfort, elegance, quality and budget. To do this, we meet with hundreds of traders and brand representatives throughout the year.
We also co-produce shoe models directly with manufacturers. They are European artisanal manufacturers, usually small workshops in Italy, Portugal or Spain. This privileged relationship makes it possible to adapt the models for our Walloon and Brussels customers.

After sales service

SIf you would like to exchange your shoes after purchase, this is possible. On the condition of course that they have not been worn or used and that they are returned to us within fifteen days of their purchase, accompanied by the sales receipt, in their original packaging.
In the event of a defect, we will exchange your defective pair or provide you with a voucher of the same value.

If your size is not available in stock, we will order it from another point of sale. We then transfer it to your favorite store and let you know when it is available.

Our history
1893: Louis Delcambe opens a shoe repair shop in Genappe. He makes made-to-measure shoes.
1920: Adelin Delcambe and his wife Gabrielle open a shoe store in Nivelles. They occupied various buildings in the street of Namur, ending up at no. 97, where they developed major brands such as Bally Suisse, Salamander and well-known Belgian brands.
1962: Their daughter Josette Delcambe took up the torch and in 1965 opened another outlet in Mons, rue de la Chaussée. For the first time, she imported directly from the factories through the ABCD purchasing cooperative, set up in 1946 with a number of Belgian independents.
1979: With Marc, Jérôme and Catherine, the fourth generation continues to develop the stores. A children's store opens in Mons.
1981: Relocation of the men's and ladies' store to a building with a historic setting. As customer numbers grow, the street becomes pedestrianized.
1988: This time, it's the Nivelles store that moves to expand, still on rue de Namur.
1992: Opening on rue de la clé in Mons of a store specializing in more casual comfortable shoes and slippers.
1994: Opening of a new store in the Cora La Louvière shopping center.
1996: Delcambe moves into building 68 rue la Chaussée, a new space for young people and trendy shoes.
2003: Opening of a new store in the Grands Prés shopping center in Mons.
2009: The fifth generation is on the way. Opening in the Wilson shopping center in Jemappes.
2012: Two stores open in the same year, one at the Esplanade shopping center in Louvain-la-Neuve and the other at the Shopping Center in Nivelles.
2015: Launch of an e-commerce site and opening of a store in Froyennes.
2016: Move to a new warehouse twice the size and renovation of the Grands Prés and La Louvière stores.
2017-2021: Opening of new stores in Docks Bruxelles, Les Bastions shopping center in Tournai, Gembloux rue de la Sucrerie, Ath and Waterloo and renovation of the Jemappes store.
2022 : Delcambe Chaussures is a network of 11 stores and a trusted reference in the region. It's also an e-commerce site, allowing you to reserve, sell and check the availability of models. All with the aim of providing our customers with the best possible service.
2023 : Delcambe Chaussures integrates Besson Chaussures, France's leading multi-brand shoemaker. Besson Chaussures has over 200 stores in France with over 6,400 quality references. Opening of the first Besson Chaussures store in Belgium in the City 2 shopping center in Brussels in October 2023.
2024 : This will be followed by the opening of another store in Waremme in March 2024. And our story, driven by a passion for putting shoes on your feet, continues...
